General Information:
The Cowlitz Indian Tribe is seeking an experienced consultant to work with the Emergency Management Division of the Public Safety Department to develop both an Emergency Management Code and a Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP). The CEMP will establish an all-hazards framework for emergency preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation within the Tribe’s jurisdiction. It is intended to be practical, scalable, operationally useful, and appropriate for a small Tribal government with limited emergency management staffing and resources, while reflecting Tribal sovereignty, the Tribe’s governmental structure, jurisdiction, hazards, capabilities, and community needs.
