Elders program:

  • All services are still available for tribal elders including delivering home cooked freezer meals, toiletries, salmon (only available to enrolled Cowlitz elders), sage, medicinal tea, hand sanitizer, cleaning products, picking up prescriptions, taking to doctors appointments or grocery shopping

  • Services are available Monday – Thursday 7am – 4pm in Clark, Cowlitz, Lewis, and Thurston Counties and at St. Mary’s Elder Housing

Indian Child Welfare:

  • All standard services and additional resources will continue to be provided by individual case managers. Services will be provided M – F 8 – 5. For emergencies please call 911.

Youth Program:

Vocational Rehabilitation: 

  • Vocational Rehabilitation (CITVR) provides services to Native Americans and Alaska Native with disabilities to obtain and maintain sustainable employment.
    • Longview office will be open Tuesday - Thursday from 8 am – 12 pm. Items will be available for pick up however, appointments must be scheduled with your Counselor. The office will be closed after noon and on Monday’s and Fridays until further notice. Although the offices are closed, services and access to your Counselor are available.
    • Staff are working from home and are available via their cell phones. Please know that some services may be limited due to other businesses and agencies being closed. Face to face appointments must be scheduled in advance. Please reach out during work hours 8-5 to:

Contract Health Services:

  • All services are still available to members accessing CHS
  • Members should continue to contact staff by phone at 360-575-8275. If they are unable to reach someone in person, a voicemail is encouraged. Someone will get back to them as soon as possible.

Substance Use Disorder Program:

  • Substance Use Disorder in Longview and Vancouver are still taking phone calls and directing the calls to the appropriate clinician.

Tukwila Substance Use Disorder Program:

  • Substance Use Disorder Assessments, Intakes, referral to detox and Inpatient. Currently we are offering Individual treatment sessions via Teletherapy (Teams). We are working out the Group sessions and will inform the community as soon as we have those up and running. We are offering limited Urine lab testing at counselors’ discretion, based on needs. Peer support/counseling is also available.
  • Please call Mercedes Rodriguez (206) 900-7335 and she can direct client to the appropriate professional for various Substance Use Disorder services offered.
  • Regular business hours 8am until 5pm. Tukwila Medication-Assisted Treatment lower building for assessments and via Teams teleconference for individual sessions. For intakes depending on the needs are screened when ISS takes the call, either via teleconference or on the premise following the same procedure as assessments.
  • All Substance Use Disorder treatment individual sessions are currently being offered via Teams Teleconference or telephone call. Assessments are scheduled through Intake Support Specialist at this time, completed at Cowlitz Tribal Health Tukwila in the lower Medication-Assisted Treatment building while social distancing and via Teams teleconference while the counselor is located at the upper building or at their home. Counselors are making themselves available to their caseload during regular business hours 8am until 5pm.
  • We are able to provide referrals, based on what is available in the community at this time. Currently some other agencies have limited services, or they are currently not open due to Covid. The ISS staff are knowledgeable in what agencies are offering services at this time.

Longview Medical Clinic: 

  • The Medical Clinic is open for services Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. If you would like to make an appointment, please contact 360-575-8275. To minimize visits to the clinic, we are asking patients to call first.

Tukwila Medication-Assisted Treatment clinic:

  • The Medication-Assisted Treatment clinic in Tukwila remains open daily Monday-Friday between 8:00am- 6:00pm for medication management of substance use dependence (Buprenorphine/Suboxone, Naltrexone/Vivitrol), primary care, and mental health needs.
  • During the Covid period we have cancelled all Medication-Assisted Treatment in person groups and have moved to individual sessions and video-chat groups to include tele-health options for those unable to access the clinic.
  • Medication prescriptions are being delivered to our patients’ homes as well as being available through the clinic.
  • Services can be received by contacting our receptionist Sahra Orozco @ (206) 466-5410 to schedule a clinic, phone, or virtual appointment.
  • Tukwila clinic is open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-6:00pm. Our clinic has additional capacity for our sister programs to visit clients in clinic when tele-health is not an option.
  • All Medication-Assisted Treatment providers and support staff are available by phone and in person to address a wide range of concerns such as symptom issues, medication management, access to care and case management needs.
  • Cowlitz Tribal Health-Seattle will make every effort to ensure our patients continue to receive necessary referrals to address their needs. We are working on alternative options for patients unable to access their primary care providers for non-Covid needs such as acute and/or chronic care needs.

Pathways to Healing Program:

  • Advocacy and therapy services are available
  • We currently are doing phone appointments unless there are circumstances due to safety or lack of resources that require in-person appointments

    • Services are available M-F 8:00am-5:00pm. We can do advocacy services for Cowlitz Tribal members regardless of where they live, otherwise our service area is King, Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, Cowlitz, and Clark counties.
    • Outside referrals will be given if needed

Mental Health Program: 

  • Counseling and medication management services provided through TeleHealth.
  • Clients can reach our team by calling our main line at each location (Longview: 360-353-9422; Vancouver: 360-397-8228 ext. 2)
  • Our services are currently offered 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and we typically break for lunch from 12-1 p.m. If clients need services outside of these hours, we have been able to accommodate individual requests in the past and clients are encouraged to speak with their provider about these options. We have offices in Longview and Vancouver, but they are currently closed.
  • All clinicians are available to clients over the phone or via video. We are currently trying to limit face-to- face contact if possible and our providers are working remotely from home.
  • If there is a need for services that falls outside of our scope, referrals will be made to ensure clients’ needs are met.

Tukwila Mental Health Program:

  • The Tukwila Mental Health program has moved mental health services to telephone/telehealth-based care. We continue to provide individual and family therapy services to children, youth, adults and elders. Established mental health clients continue to receive services from their primary mental health providers via telephone or video sessions. Services are not currently being provided in person.
  • The Tukwila Mental Health program is accepting referrals for mental health services, but we are currently on a waitlist for services. Community members requesting mental health services will need to be able to engage with services via telehealth (telephone or using a secure video platform such as Microsoft Teams).
  • Tukwila Mental Health services can be accessed by contacting our Referral Coordinator, Tanya Marceau at 206-721-5170 x 2313. Community members requesting services can fill out a referral form for services over the phone.
  • Mental Health reception is answering phone calls from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Our main number is 206-721-5170. All mental health services are being provided via telephone or teleconference (using Microsoft Teams) and appointments for established clients are scheduled directly with the client’s therapist.
  • Mental health therapists are available to provide support to clients by telephone or teleconferencing (via Microsoft Teams) only during the hours of 8 a.m.-5p.m., Monday-Friday. For urgent after-hours needs, or in the event of a mental health crisis, clients and community members are asked to contact the King County Crisis Line at (206) 461-3222. For life-threatening physical or mental health emergencies, clients and community members are urged to call 911.
  • Referrals to outside agencies or services are provided based on the services available in the community at this time. Mental Health therapists and program staff will work with clients to identify available options for referrals to community agencies.
