As of March 23, 2020, Cowlitz Tribe Transit Service (CTTS) is providing food bank, grocery delivery, and prescription drop-off/pickup service to HOMEBOUND individuals. living within our service area of South Lewis and Cowlitz Counties up to 20 miles off Interstate 5. This service is TEMPORARY and implemented with support from the Washington State Department of Transportation in response to COVID-19. Grocery stores that offer online purchases for pick-up may include Walmart, Fred Meyers and Safeway.
Like others, we are navigating the unknown and must be able to maintain transit service to life sustaining medical appointments for our rural community. Logistics of this service are being worked out; your patience is greatly appreciated. If you live in our service area, are homebound and in need of food or medications, please contact CTTS Manager, Becky Morton at 360-232-8585 or 360-747-0377.
This service will continue at least until May 4, 2020 at which time we will evaluate the need for continuation. Updates or changes to the service will be posted via the CIT website and our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/cowlitztribedotandtransitservices/.
As a community we have the ability to work together to support one another.
