The mold inspection is complete, remediation work continues on the 3rd floor and basement of D-wing. All of the Elder’s homes at Cowlitz Village have undergone a deep cleaning.

Emergency Notice Update 10/22/2020

Emergency Notice update: 10-22-2020

As we continue testing and begin remediation relating to mold issues at St. Mary’s and the Cowlitz Village, all facilities will be closed to everyone except essential employees, residents and contractors.

As of Monday, 10/19, all employees and residents have been temporarily relocated in order to allow for unencumbered remediation and remodel construction while protecting all staff and residents during this process.

Once residents begin to return to the Cowlitz Village, guests of residents will be allowed access but need to be aware of closed areas and alternate entrances and exits.

St. Mary's Update

St. Mary's Update: 10-22-2020

Last week the Tribe has had air quality and mold testing done in all unoccupied spaces of the St. Mary’s facility. Preliminary results have been released (very large and complex reports). 

We are following up with the testing company to get clarity on the testing results and identify areas that will require further testing and possibly remediation.
